Question : Der Mobility-Scooter 6 km/h könnte etwas für mich sein. Er dürfte ständig mit einem E-Scooter verwechselt werden, der 20 km/h fährt. Gibt es da eine Bescheinigung, dass das Teil zulassungsfrei ist. Wie sieht es mit der Versicherung aus?

Mobilitätshilfen bis 6 km/h zeichnen sich dadurch aus dass sie nur 6 km/h maximale Geschwindigkeit fahren und bedürfen keiner weiteren Bescheinigung; lediglich ein Aufkleber oder Hinweisschild mit 6 km/h am Fahrzeug sollte angebracht sein. Da Mobilitätshifen kein Kraftfahrzeug darstellen muß auch keine extra Kraftfahr-Haftpflichtversicherung für das Fahrzeug abgeschlossen werden.
