Unlike a pedelec, you control the drive solely via the twist grip - pedalling is not necessary.
This allows you to ride effortlessly through the countryside at a maximum speed of 20 km/h and master even steep climbs with ease. Of course, you can always pedal as hard as your physical capabilities allow - but if your strength fails you, the motor alone provides the propulsion.
Our e-bikes are equipped with the Ansmann drive, which is characterized in particular by high quality, high torque and virtually no noise.
The drive supports the e-bike up to 20 km/h via the twist grip without the rider having to pedal. A high-quality display with integrated speedometer function shows you not only the selected assistance level and the battery status indicator, but also the calculated remaining range.
We use the Ansmann FM 8.0 as standard on the velano e-bikes (lightweight mopeds). It also uses a brushless motor with planetary gearing, which has an extremely high torque of 60 Nm. It is also equipped with a mechanical freewheel so that it offers practically no resistance of its own if you want to ride without the drive engaged. High torque and a mechanical freewheel are excellent prerequisites for use as an e-bike drive. The rider can control the speed from 0 - 20 km/h using the twist grip without having to pedal. A speedometer informs the rider about the current speed and the distance already ridden.

Question : Gibt es auch Modelle mit großer Reichweite

Answer:
Leider nein - Sie können die Reichweite nur multiplizieren indem Sie einen Zweit- oder Drittakku mitnehmen oder mitpedalieren - bei Pedelecs werden die Reichweiten ja z.B. mit einem BOSCH 500 Wh Akku (der von den Wattstunden ungeführ dem 14 Ah Akku entspricht) realistisch mit 130 Kilometer bei leichtem Mittreten angegeben. Ohne Mittreten sind es leider dann nur 1/3 dieser Pedelecreichweite.
