Customised saddle width
A prerequisite for maximum comfort and relief is a customised saddle width to ensure that your sit bones are in full contact with the saddle. This is the only way to properly relieve the sensitive perineal area in men and the usually lower pubic arch in women. Available widths: 18|21|24 cm
Now that we have made a large number of customers happy with these saddles, we could go one better and give the many arguments why the activ comfort features are ingenious - here are some more arguments:
The tried and tested City and Comfort saddles have been given an all-round update: from an improved, lighter saddle shell, an increased adjustment range to a completely newly developed technology for the Comfort active system, which can now be adjusted via a switch function. Integrated threads for attaching bags are also new. The new 621 ERGOLUX® active 2.1 offers even more comfort with the same level of relief and a narrower saddle nose for more legroom.
ERGOLUX® saddle shape More comfort - less pressure
The shape of the wave-shaped elevation of the ERGOLUX® saddles, which stretches from the rear to the front, perfectly matches the mostly bulbous ischial branches. The enlarged, less punctual contact surface ensures the best possible pressure distribution.
The first step provides support to the rear and ensures improved power transmission to the pedal. The second step optimally supports the ischial tuberosities and distributes the pressure evenly. The perineum and the front area of the pubic bone and pubic arch are given more space thanks to the lower saddle nose.
Comfort active saddle technology
The proven SQlab active system allows the saddle to follow the pedalling movement, increasing comfort, relieving pressure on the intervertebral discs and reducing pressure on the sit bones. The active movement can be regulated in two stages using the new switch function.
