Keeps the battery at the right temperature when used in cold environments.The battery cover is only recommended for temperatures below 15 degrees.The protective cover is made from high-quality, elasticated neoprene, is easy to fit and adapts perfectly to the shape of the battery.The neoprene ensures that the operating temperature of the battery is maintained, resulting in a longer range even on cool / cold days.Tip: The battery should be stored at room temperature and only inserted into the drive unit shortly before the start of the journey. Remove the battery cover for the charging process.! With 420Wh batteries, care must be taken to ensure that the edges and corners of the aluminium case are de-radiused (rounded) and do not tear the neoprene as the cover is very tight; if necessary, de-radius (file down) sharp edges and corners beforehand. !We use a cover from the bicycle sector that is sewn for Bosch batteries and is therefore not 100% suitable for the TravelScoot battery but still fulfils its purpose.If soiled, you can clean the battery cover by hand with mild soap and water.
