The add-e NEXT Sport is supplied with mapping 2. This means with a maximum assistance speed of 25 km/h and a maximum power of 600 W. This corresponds to the standard stated above, as the 600 W is an indication of the peak power.The add-e NEXT Sport Edition makes it possible to ride at an average higher speed (max. up to 45 km/h). In order to use the add-e NEXT Sport in the EU in compliance with the law, it is delivered from the factory with mapping 2 (25 km/h, 600 W peak power). These parameters can only be changed if a dongle is fitted to the drive unit. The classic cup holder - compatible only with the water bottle battery - can still be ordered as a single component. Low weight, compatibility with all common sports bottles and absolute understatement were and are the strengths of this generation of battery interfaces.

Adapter for drinking bottle battery to the latest add-e NEXT system - With this adapter, it is possible to use the classic drinking bottle battery in combination with the NEXT battery holder. The adapter is fixed to the battery holder with a twist and the water bottle battery is plugged into the holder. The battery must also be secured with the enclosed "strap".

add-e NEXT Bluetooth Sensor Speed (S) for pedal arm mounting or PAS (P) for wheel axle mounting.add-e NEXT has intelligent sensors that continuously calculate speed and crank speed while riding.
